I bought the Handbook for a class 2 months before taking the ASQ CMQ/OE exam.This was not enough time to digest this book.I wish I'd been handed this book (or an earlier version) when I started in quality and been told to READ IT! Over the past 10 years I've heard all sorts of topics found here, like what a quality manager is supposed to do, different techniques, etc.They're all here with references on where to go for more information.Ever needed a perfect explanation for a qualtiy topic? Russell T. Westcott is president of R.T. Westcott & Associates, where he guides clients in implementing ISO 9001 quality management systems, applying for Baldrige-type awards, strategic planning, project management, and initiating lean practices. Westcott is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Quality Manager.
